About Nova Environmental Group

Leading the Standard in Environmental Compliance

Nova Environmental Group is a New York-based environmental consulting firm specializing in lead-based paint, asbestos, mold, and indoor air quality inspections. We serve property owners, managers, developers, and tenants with expert-level assessments and compliance solutions that protect health, reduce liability, and keep your projects on track.

But we’re more than just inspectors — we’re your partner in navigating NYC’s most complex housing and safety laws. When your reputation, your tenants’ safety, and your investments are on the line, you need a team that treats your property like their own.

Our Mission

To protect communities through honest, thorough, and legally compliant environmental inspections — while building lasting partnerships with clients who care about doing things right.

What Sets Us Apart

  • Certified Expertise
We’re fully licensed in lead, asbestos, mold, and air quality testing in New York State and NYC. Every inspection is handled with precision and professionalism by experienced, credentialed staff.

  • NYC Law Specialists
We live and breathe the local code — from Local Law 31 lead compliance, to Industrial Code Rule 56 asbestos regulations, to HUD and HPD requirements. We don’t just find issues — we help you fix them the right way.

  • Clear, Actionable Reporting
We don’t hand you a stack of confusing lab results. You get clear, easy-to-understand reports that tell you what was found, what it means, and what steps to take next.

  • Fast Turnaround, Reliable Support
We know compliance is time-sensitive. That’s why we offer rush service, emergency inspections, and a team that’s ready when you are — whether it's 1 unit or 100.
